It’s okay to romanticise the small things about your day-to-day life. It’s okay to romanticise sleeping in, waking up to the sun tickling your skin. It’s okay to romanticise the texture of fingers against a page. Sometimes to save your day you need to romanticise sitting at a desk and working, or romanticise studying hyped up on coffee. It’s okay to picture yourself as if you were the mc in a movie. Watch yourself go through shit and know that it’s just the climax of your own story, and that while you sit in your room sobbing to sad songs, good things are just around the corner.
Sometimes to be okay or get through the day you need to romanticise the simple things.

hey everyone, my name is genevieve and i’m a 21 year old trans girl and college student from florida. the thing that probably makes me most dysphoric about myself is the hair that grows on my face each day - even though i shave multiple times a day, i still have constant blue shadow / stubble that never goes away. the solution to this is laser hair removal, for which i just had a consultation. the plan at the place i went to is actually reasonable: $450 dollars for 8 sessions! To think that that money is the only thing (besides time) keeping me from being able to walk out of the house each morning without wearing full coverage foundation - the only thing keeping me from feeling comfortable enough to sleep over at someone’s house without running to the bathroom in the early morning to shave before they see me - is bewildering! But I’m a college student with no job, and so I’m asking for all of y’alls help. Any amount of money you could give to help me with this goal is appreciated.
